Top Loading Pottery Kilns

Top-loading kilns fire from above — compact, straightforward to use, and a practical choice for home studios and smaller workspaces. All models reach at least 1300°C and cover earthenware, stoneware, and porcelain.

Key things to consider:

Power supply — smaller models run from a 13A socket; larger models need a hardwired dedicated circuit
Capacity — from 30L for personal work to 225L for studio production
Note — top-loaders need clear headroom above the kiln for loading
