The Kiln That Doesn't Ask Much of Your Home
Most kilns require a dedicated electrical supply — which means an electrician visit, a cost, and a decision before you've even fired a piece. The Ikon V46 is different. It runs on a standard 13A household socket, so you can have it installed and firing your first piece the same day it arrives.
Inside, the V46 offers a 46-litre chamber — large enough for a genuine production session (9 mugs comfortably, or 2 vases plus smaller pieces around them) but compact enough to sit in a garage, spare room, or small studio without dominating the space. The maximum temperature of 1315°C means you're not limited in what you can fire: earthenware, mid-fire stoneware, high-fire stoneware, and porcelain all within the V46's range.
The KCR32C controller comes pre-loaded with standard firing programmes and gives you full manual control when you want it. And if you want to monitor your firings remotely — from another room or away from home entirely — the optional WiFi controller upgrade connects your kiln to Kilncare's GATEway platform.
It's manufactured in Stoke-on-Trent, backed by a 3-year warranty, and it comes with the V46 Furniture Set (2 shelves and 12 props) included free.
