Beginner Pottery Kiln

Your first pottery kiln — made as straightforward as possible. The kilns in this range are chosen for beginners: compact enough for a spare room or garage, simple to operate, and most plug into a standard 13A household socket without any electrical installation.

Choosing your first kiln:

  • Start with a 13A plug-in model — no electrician, no dedicated circuit, just plug in and fire
  • 30–60 litres is plenty — more than enough capacity for learning and personal studio work
  • Digital controller — optional on most models; adds precision but isn't essential for getting started
