More Room, Same Simplicity
The Aurora 40 gives you 10 more litres than the Mercury ā enough additional room to notice when you're loading a full mix of mugs and smaller pieces, or when you want two levels of tiles in a single firing. It still runs from a standard 13A socket, so there's no installation complexity between you and your first firing.
Potterycrafts build the Aurora in Stoke-on-Trent to the same quality standard as their larger studio and professional kilns. The gas strut lid opens smoothly and stays open without assistance while you pack the chamber ā a small practical detail that makes a real difference when you're loading carefully. The 108mm base insulation is particularly generous for a compact kiln, helping maintain even temperature at the chamber floor.
The CERA-10+ controller is optional ā 32 programmable firing schedules, clear display, and WiFi connectivity available as an upgrade. If you're just getting started, the kiln can be ordered without the controller and upgraded later.
