The Ikon V61 sits at the heart of Kilncare's top-loading range — same 61-litre chamber as the V61E and V61 GXR, but with the full 3.6kW driven through a hardwired 15A supply. If you've got an electrician lined up and want every ounce of performance the Ikon platform can deliver, this is the version to pick.
The extra power matters most when you're firing tightly packed loads of stoneware or porcelain. Ramp rates are quicker, top-end soaks are more reliable, and you've got real headroom at 1315°C for adventurous glaze work — reductions, crystallines, or anything that needs to sit confidently at cone 10. The chamber, lid, controller and warranty are identical to the rest of the Ikon family; the difference is what's behind the wall socket.
