Show Us Your Corner — terms and conditions

Free prize draw. Last updated 27 August 2026.

1. Promoter

2. Dates

The draw opens at 00:01 on Monday 14 September 2026 and closes at 23:59 on Thursday 15 October 2026. Entries received after closing won't be counted. The winner will be drawn on Saturday 17 October 2026.

3. Who can enter

• You must be 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom, including Northern Ireland.
• You must have bought a pottery wheel from Kiln Crafts and received it. Any wheel, bought at any time.
• Orders that were cancelled or fully refunded don't qualify.
• Employees of KC Commerce Ltd, their immediate families, and anyone professionally connected with the draw can't enter.
• One entry per person. Owning more than one wheel doesn't get you more entries.

4. How to enter

Entry is free and no purchase is required beyond already owning your wheel. Send us a video of roughly 60 to 90 seconds in which you talk about your wheel, by any of:

• WhatsApp to 01202 144142
• Email to support@kilncrafts.co.uk, attached or as a WeTransfer link
• Any other method we tell you about in writing

Your entry is only valid once you have also completed the entry form at kilncrafts.co.uk/pages/show-us-your-corner-entry, including all three permission confirmations. We'll send you the link when your video arrives. Standard message and data rates from your provider may apply.

5. What makes an entry valid

We may reject an entry that:

• contains music, film or other material belonging to someone else;
• features someone who hasn't agreed to be in it, or a child without their parent's permission;
• is unlawful, offensive, or defamatory;
• isn't genuinely about your own experience of your wheel.

We are not judging entries on quality and the draw is not a contest of skill. A phone video filmed in one take has exactly the same chance as anything else — that is deliberate.

6. The prize

One winner receives a box containing:

• One Kiln Crafts Table Top Clay Roller (RRP £299)
• One Movers & Shapers Potters Tool Kit (RRP £70)
• One bag of clay and two Mayco glazes, in the winner's choice of colour, subject to stock

We'll contact the winner to choose their two profile ribs for the tool kit, their glaze colours and their clay.

Total approximate retail value: over £350 (the roller and tool kit alone total £369).

Everyone who submits a valid entry receives one Kiln Crafts Craft Apron (RRP £44.95) in a colour of their choice, subject to stock, posted free to a UK address after the draw.

There is no cash alternative. Prizes are not transferable. If any item becomes unavailable we may substitute something of equal or greater value. Prizes are delivered to UK mainland and Northern Ireland addresses only.

7. How the winner is chosen

The winner will be drawn at random from all valid entries on Saturday 17 October 2026, using a random number generator, filmed so it can be seen to be fair. The draw is supervised by a director of KC Commerce Ltd who is independent of the judging of entries. We'll notify the winner by email and phone within 48 hours. If we can't reach them, or they don't claim within 14 days, we'll redraw. The winner's first name and county will be published on kilncrafts.co.uk and on our social channels within 28 days of the draw; write to us at the address above if you'd rather we didn't and we'll tell you the winner's county only.

8. Your video, and what we do with it

You keep ownership of your video. Nothing here transfers copyright to us and you remain free to use your own video however you like.

By ticking the permission boxes on the entry form, you grant KC Commerce Ltd a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, edit, shorten, subtitle and publish your video, your first name, your town and your likeness for marketing purposes. That includes paid advertising on Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok and Pinterest, our website, our emails, printed material and trade show displays. No fee is payable to you beyond the apron and, if you win, the prize.

We will edit for length and clarity but never in a way that changes what you meant.

You can withdraw at any time by emailing support@kilncrafts.co.uk. We will remove your video from everything within our control within five working days. We cannot recall material already printed, already distributed to third parties, or copies shared by other people, and we may keep one archived copy together with your permission record where we are legally required to.

9. Reviews on other platforms

This draw is run by us, for our own marketing. It has nothing to do with Trustpilot, Google or any other review platform, and we will never ask you to leave a review anywhere in exchange for a prize or a gift. Please don't mention this draw in a review on a third-party platform — most of them, Trustpilot included, don't permit reviews connected to an incentive, and we would rather our rating stayed straightforwardly honest.

10. Your data

KC Commerce Ltd is the data controller. We'll use the details you give us to run the draw, verify your order, send your apron, and contact you about your video. Our lawful basis is your consent for the video and likeness, and legitimate interests for administering the draw. We keep entry and permission records for as long as your video is in use and for six years afterwards, because advertising regulators can ask us about an advert long after it has stopped running. We don't sell your data. You have the right to access, correct or erase your data and to withdraw consent — email support@kilncrafts.co.uk. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. See our privacy information for more.

11. General

• We may cancel or amend the draw, or these terms, where circumstances beyond our reasonable control make it necessary. We'll say so on this page if we do.
• We're not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed or corrupted in transmission.
• Entering means you accept these terms.
• This draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by Meta, Instagram, WhatsApp, Google or TikTok.
• These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Nothing here affects your statutory rights.
