Kiln Crafts Quarterly Prize Draw — Terms & Conditions
We run a genuine prize draw for our email subscribers, with no purchase required. These terms explain how it works so there's nothing hidden.
1. Promoter
The promoter is Kiln Crafts, a trading name of the registered business operating kilncrafts.co.uk, based in Colchester, Essex, United Kingdom. All correspondence about the draw should be sent to info@kilncrafts.co.uk.
2. Eligibility
Entry is free and open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over, excluding employees of Kiln Crafts and their immediate families. Only one entry per person per draw, based on email address.
3. How to enter
You are automatically entered into the draw when you subscribe to the Kiln Crafts email list and remain an active, confirmed subscriber at the draw date. There is no purchase necessary and you do not need to complete any other action to take part. If you unsubscribe before the draw date, you will not be entered for that quarter.
4. Prize
The prize is one (1) Kiln Crafts Daisy Pottery Wheel Package, as listed on kilncrafts.co.uk at the time of the draw. The package includes the Daisy Pottery Wheel, splash pan, a set of basic tools, and a clay starter pack. The retail value is approximately £499 including VAT. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. Kiln Crafts reserves the right to substitute the prize with an item of equal or greater value if the listed product becomes unavailable.
5. Delivery
Delivery of the prize is free to any UK mainland address. The winner is responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive delivery at a suitable address; we are not liable for missed deliveries where incorrect or unattended address details have been provided.
6. Draw dates
The draw runs quarterly. One winner is selected at the close of each calendar quarter:
- Q1 draw: on or before 7 April (for entries active at the end of March)
- Q2 draw: on or before 7 July (for entries active at the end of June)
- Q3 draw: on or before 7 October (for entries active at the end of September)
- Q4 draw: on or before 7 January (for entries active at the end of December)
7. Selection method
The winner is selected at random from the pool of active, confirmed email subscribers as of the draw date, using a random selection tool applied to the anonymised list of eligible email addresses. The draw is overseen by a member of the Kiln Crafts team.
8. Winner notification
The winner will be notified by email to the address registered on their subscription within 7 days of the draw. If the winner does not respond within 14 days of the notification email, Kiln Crafts reserves the right to re-draw and select an alternative winner. We will never ask for payment, card details, or passwords in order to claim the prize.
9. Publicity
Kiln Crafts may publish the winner's first name and county (for example, "Sarah from Devon") on our website, in our email newsletter, or on our social channels. We will not publish your full name, email address, or any other identifying detail without your explicit consent.
10. Data protection
Your personal data is processed in line with our privacy policy and applicable UK data protection law. Entry into the draw does not add you to any additional lists beyond your existing email subscription. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any Kiln Crafts email; unsubscribing will remove you from future draws.
11. Liability
Kiln Crafts is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered in connection with the prize, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law. We are not responsible for entries lost, delayed, or not received due to technical faults outside our control.
12. Changes and governing law
Kiln Crafts reserves the right to amend or cancel the draw at any time if circumstances outside our control require it; we will give reasonable notice to subscribers where possible. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
