How much clay can it centre?

What that means in real life: a mug takes roughly half a kilo of clay, and a big serving bowl 2–3kg. Most people throwing at home never come close to these limits, so a bigger number matters far less than it looks.

Price, and what comes with it

The Daisy is the only wheel here that comes with batts, tools and a stool. For the others you'll need to add them. Delivery isn't included for any wheel.

    We email you to book a delivery slot as soon as your wheel is ready to go.

  2. It arrives

    Delivery is free, to the kerbside. It's 40kg, so have someone around to help carry it in.

  3. You set it up

    Fit the legs and splash pan and plug it into a normal 13A socket. No extension lead.

  4. You decide

    Throw on it for 30 days. If it's not for you, send it back for a full refund.

I've never thrown before. Is the Daisy too much wheel?

No. Most people who buy a Daisy tell us they're not potters yet. It's simple to use, two dials and a pedal, and it's built to grow with you so you won't outgrow it quickly.

How big is it, and can I move it?

It takes up 60 × 47cm and weighs 40kg. It's fine to move between rooms with two people; lift it by the body, never by the wheelhead.

What else do I need?

Clay, an apron you don't mind getting muddy, and a way to fire what you make. That can be your own kiln or a local firing service; plenty of pottery classes will fire pieces for a small fee.

How is it delivered?

Free UK delivery, to the kerbside. It's 40kg, so have someone around to help carry it in. We'll email you to book a slot.

What does the warranty cover?

Three years, and we fix it or replace it. It covers manufacturing faults; wear parts like belts can be excluded. Your statutory rights aren't affected. Read the warranty.

What if it's not for me?

You've got 30 days from the day it arrives. If it isn't right, send it back for a full refund.
