Professional Capacity for Regular Studio Use
The Topworker 80 is Potterycrafts' entry into the professional studio top-loading range — 80 litres of firing space designed for the demands of regular production use in studios, schools, and colleges. At this capacity, you're firing meaningful batch loads, running a proper ceramics programme, or supporting the output of a busy studio without multiple firings to process each week's work.
The stainless steel frame gives the Topworker its characteristic durability in active studio environments. Unlike powder-coated steel frames that can chip and corrode over time in damp studio conditions, stainless resists corrosion through years of studio use. Combined with 76mm brick walls and 25mm backup insulation, the Topworker 80 is built to perform consistently under the kind of regular use that would degrade a less robust kiln.
Like all Potterycrafts studio kilns, the Topworker 80 requires a dedicated hardwired electrical circuit. At 6.5kW and 32A, a qualified electrician is needed for installation. Call us before ordering and we'll talk through the electrical requirements for your studio.
