Traditional Build at Large Scale

The Lightmaster range is Potterycrafts' traditional-style large front-loading kiln — built to the same tried-and-tested design that has made Potterycrafts one of Europe's best-selling kiln brands, scaled up to capacities that suit the most demanding studio and educational requirements.

At 150 litres, the Lightmaster offers significantly more capacity than a typical studio kiln while maintaining the front-loading format that makes loading complex or large loads straightforward. Kanthal A1 elements in grooved brickwork provide even heat distribution throughout the chamber, and the brick-to-brick door seal maintains its integrity over years of firing without the degradation associated with fibre gasket seals.

A practical choice for studios and schools who need large front-loading capacity with proven reliability, and who prefer the traditional design approach over the tube-mounted element system of the Heatworker range.

The Lightmaster 150 Is Right For You If

  • You need 150 litres of front-loading capacity
  • You want traditional brick construction with proven reliability
  • You prefer a kiln with Kanthal A1 elements in a grooved system
  • You want a large front-loader at a lower price point than the Heatworker 135
  • You run a studio or school that needs more capacity than the Fireworker 68

What the Lightmaster 150 Delivers

Brick-to-Brick Door Seal

The Fireworker and Lightmaster ranges use a traditional brick-to-brick door seal — where the door brick face meets the chamber brick face without a fibre or rubber gasket in between. Fibre seals degrade with heat cycling over time, progressively losing their sealing effectiveness. A brick-to-brick seal maintains its integrity for the life of the kiln, providing consistent heat retention every firing.

150-Litre Front-Loading Chamber

150 litres at comfortable loading height — generous enough for ambitious studio output, school ceramics programmes, and large-scale batch firing, with the front-loading access that makes placing and checking large or complex loads significantly easier than a top-loader at this size. Internal dimensions of 46cm wide × 48cm deep × 68cm high provide a practical loading space.

Made in the Potteries

Designed and built in Stoke-on-Trent — the historic heart of British ceramics. Potterycrafts are among Europe's best-selling kiln brands, with a reputation built on consistent quality and long-term reliability. All spare parts are stocked at the Stoke factory, ensuring you're not reliant on international supply chains for ongoing service and maintenance.

Compatible with CERA-10+ and CERA-10+ WiFi controllers. Automated flue vent damper available as an upgrade for studios that want better airflow control during firing and cooling. Roof and door vents standard.
