The Potterycrafts Heatworker 90L is Built to Last:

Constructed from durable low thermal insulation brick with two high-grade backup insulation boards, all enclosed within a robust pressed steel and powder-coated frame. Every detail of this kiln is engineered for long service life and high performance.

Advanced Tubed Element Design

Unlike conventional kilns with elements recessed into grooved walls, the Heatworker range uses ceramic support tubes to mount the elements. This innovative design reduces stress on both the chamber and elements, increases efficiency, and extends kiln life.

Maximum Design Temperature

The Heatworker 90L achieves a higher maximum design temperature of 1320°C, offering greater flexibility across all firing applications, including stoneware and porcelain.

Thermal Efficiency

Two-layer insulation with grooved brick and backup boards ensures excellent thermal efficiency, providing optimal heat retention and distribution for reliable results.

Safety and Compliance

The kiln is equipped with essential safety features:

  • Dual contactors and over-temperature monitoring to prevent overfires (when paired with Potterycrafts controllers).
  • Type R thermocouple for accuracy and longevity.
  • Roof and door vents as standard for venting and cooling.
  • Captive interlock safety switch prevents operation unless locked in place.
  • Fully ROHS and WEEE compliant.

Temperature Control

The Heatworker 90L can be fitted with your choice of advanced controllers:

  • CERA-10+ Controller: Features 32 programs with 32 segments each, including ramp speed, target temperature, and hold periods. Simple enough for basic firings but advanced enough for complex cycles, suitable for pottery, glass, and scientific use.
  • CERA-10+ WIFI Controller: Includes all CERA-10+ features plus WIFI control via PC, tablet, or smartphone using the GATEway app.
