An extra shelf is one of the simplest ways to get more out of your IKON kiln. Instead of piling pieces too close together or leaving space wasted because you can't support another level, an additional shelf gives you the option to load the kiln exactly the way your work requires.
The 36cm diameter is sized to fit both the V46 and V61 chambers — so it works across both kiln models without needing to check compatibility. High-temperature ceramic construction means it handles repeated firings without degrading, and it pairs cleanly with the props already in your furniture set. Use it to add a firing level, replace a worn shelf, or simply keep a clean spare so you can swap it in and reload immediately after a firing without waiting for everything to cool down.

The 36cm diameter sits cleanly inside the chamber with the clearance needed for proper heat circulation around your work.

If you want to add a third level in the V61, the 75mm and 100mm props from your existing set give you the headroom you need above two lower shelves.
