The Kilncare Artizan 139 is a high-capacity front-loading pottery kiln built for artists, schools, and professional studios tackling large pieces or high-volume firing. With a 139-litre chamber, it accommodates oversized forms, multiple bisque loads, or complex sculptural work, giving ceramicists the freedom to scale up their creative projects with confidence.
Constructed for reliability and precision, the Artizan 139 features Kanthal A1 heating elements, known for their durability and consistent performance. Its front-loading design, combined with automatic seal door clamps, ensures a tight, secure seal every firing, while robust “hard” insulation bricks on the front face protect the kiln from loading impacts.
Efficiency and safety are central to the Artizan 139. A three-section door seal improves heat retention, while a door safety cutoff switch and contactor circuits provide overfire protection. The kiln also features a lockable door vent plate for controlled venting and optional automatic roof dampers for longer firings, minimizing monitoring requirements.
The kiln is supplied with the KCR32C digital controller, offering complete control over firing schedules with 32 fully adjustable programs, each consisting of 32 segments. Additional features include overheat protection, segment forwarding, delayed start, power usage monitoring, and display options in °C or °F. Optional Wi-Fi connectivity enables remote monitoring and access via the Kilncare GATEway.
