The whole point of the batt system is that you don't have to wire a wet pot off the wheel and hope it survives the trip to the shelf. You lift the tile out, pot and all, and set it down somewhere safe. The catch is that each pot keeps its tile until it's leather-hard, and that can take a day or two.
So once you're making more than a handful of pieces a week, the tiles run out before the ideas do. This pack gives you nine more, so you can keep a batch drying, another on the go, and still have a clean tile ready for the next lump of clay.
They're the same 180 mm tiles that come in the box with the Daisy, so they sit in your master batt exactly like the ones you already have.
A pack of nine insert tiles, 180 mm across. That's plenty of room for mugs, cups, small bowls and most of what you'll make as you're learning.
These are made for the Kiln Crafts batt system, the one that ships with the Daisy. They seat in the master batt the same way as your original ten.
Every time you move a wet pot by hand there's a chance it warps or tears. Moving the tile instead keeps the shape you threw, right through to trimming.
