Performance is a key highlight of the Hobbyfuser GEN4. Unlike other large plug-in kilns that may be sluggish, this kiln delivers impressive speed and efficiency. Equipped with high-performance, infrared quartz elements and well-designed insulation, it can achieve a temperature rise of nearly 450 degrees per hour, even with the optional shelf installed. With the shelf, the kiln can reach temperatures of 700°C to 800°C in just 11 minutes, and without the shelf, it accomplishes the same dash in an incredible 9 minutes.
Structurally, the Hobbyfuser GEN4 remains identical to its predecessor, the Hobbyfuser 3. However, significant changes have been made internally. The kiln now features the KCR32C controller, bringing it in line with the rest of the "Fuser" family. This upgrade required a complete reworking of the internal wiring and components. With the KCR32C controller, the GEN4 can fully utilize the Kilncare Gateway WIFI option, introducing new possibilities for kiln use and monitoring. With WIFI connectivity, you can conveniently control and monitor your kiln remotely using a compatible device.
